We had a pair of unexpected twins out in the barn this week! We had some doubts about their mother who didn't seem to want to feed them. So we took brother and sister inside to bottle feed them. After a few feedings we took them back out to see if momma would take them back. All three of them are out in the barn as I type. Snuggled up in the straw, the twins with full tummies!
     We were not expecting these lambs yet so it was a surprise. It was nice when they came during a very rare warm weather week.
 We checked all the other ewes to see if there were any more winter babes to come. It looks like we will be having another set of twins any day now from our one and only black sheep. But for now we are having lots of fun watching the lambs bounce all over their pen playing with each other.
