This year our whole family wrote down one thing for each year we have lived that we're thankful for. Here are mine.
1. The sunshine. I absolutely love waking up to the sunshine. It makes me feel energized, happy and bright!
2. My Family. What would life be without my best friends? If sunshine makes me feel good, then my family makes me feel like the happiest person in the world!!!
3. Music. I really enjoy making and listening to music. Its one of my favorite pastimes!
4. The Farm for EWE and ME. It is so much fun living on a farm! I love everything about it. Spending time with the animals, working with my family, and yes, that also includes doing chores.
5. Laughter! The sound of Aliviahs laughter (as well as everyone else's) often fills the house every day. The best pictures we have taken have at least 1 person laughing.
6. My sewing machine. Every time I sew something I'm thankful. Not every 13 year old has a sewing machine !
7. Our wood furnace. It keeps us warm inside all winter (and while we're collecting and cutting it) as well as helps us learn that hard work pays off.
8. Imagination. This would be a boring world without imagination. I bet I could think of a lot of things that we wouldn't have today if someone didn't have the creativity to think it up.
9. Books. Reading is probably my favorite past time. Alice has to shake me sometimes to get my attention when I'm reading a good book. =D
10. My bow. It is a lot of fun shooting my bow with dad. Even though you don't always hit the target in the middle I enjoy the challenge and the sport itself.
11. Carhartt products. Ah yes... I don't think I would ever go out to chores here in ND with out my Carhartt gear. (My Pink Carhartt gear to be exact).
12. The Bible. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Psalms 23:1
13. Jesus and His love for me. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believeth in Him shall have everlasting life." John 3:16
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

What a wonderful list!! My list would be much longer, but it would have many of the same things that you are thankful for.
