Since we heat with wood through the winter it often takes a while to collect, split, and stack it all. But thanks to all our wonderful friends, at the wood party a couple weeks ago more than half got done! Being that there were so many guys there us girls got to watch our job get done for us.

We had a hay ride and it was a big hit! A bunch of the younger kids (and a few grown-ups) enjoyed the tour of part of our farm. The bumpy spots were pretty exciting for the little kiddos (I can't say the same for the adults).

Who doesn't want to cuddle a kitten? These two were passed around the hay filled trailer quite a few times during the ride.

I love giving pony rides! I was glad when Peter Pony took the bridle well (for once) so some of the little kids could pretend to be riding themselves. :)

There was also plenty of hot apple cider to warm up with. As well as delicious chili for supper.
We are very thankful for the time and work that everyone invested to help us out. After all "Many hands makes light work."

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Now, as I often do, I will end with another adorable picture of little "Squishy" Our family wouldn't be complete without her.
