These are no ordinary fall caramel apples. These ones are inside-out! We basically took half the inside out of our apples, filled them with caramel and cut them in to slices. They are SO good! Its a lot less messy then the usual way but  the caramel did a very good job of sticking to everything in its path. (My fingers are sticking to the keyboard).

This is mock raspberry jam that our neighbor taught us to make. Yes, mock! Believe it or not, the main ingredient is green tomatoes. It tastes just like raspberry jam and is a great way to use unripened tomatoes.

We tried planting sunflowers this year. We planted a whole packet and ended up with 3. Oh well, they are cute anyway! I really hope we can plant a lot more flowers next spring.

Our straw for the winter. We helped to bale and it was hard work but its better than all our animals freezing to the ground this winter!
This momma kitty even decided to have her 6 little kittens here!

A few weeks ago our grandparents from Florida came to visit. While taking them on a tour of our farm dad hooked up a trailer to the back of our Mule so we didn't have to walk while they rode up front.
What better way to enjoy the fall scenery than to take a hay ride? Okay, a trailer ride but that's close enough.
