Christmas was held at our house this year. Our grandparents came up from Minot and spent a couple days here. Alice and I learned how to make homemade hot cocoa and kneapla soup from Gram.
Our uncle Dale also came up from Fargo. I caught a picture of him in his traditional Christmas hat.
We all got excited about our gifts this year like always. :) From mom and dad the boys got remote control helicopters. The little girls got stick horses, and Alice and I were very excited to receive a new pair of cow girl boots!
We also got a fun game called headbanz from gram and papa. You have a card over your forehead and you ask questions and get clues about what you are. We all laughed really hard when dad got the card with a mouse. You might say he is not too fond of them. Many stories could be told about "man verses mouse".
Before Christmas we had our friends the Schills and Jacobsons over for dinner. Mrs. Jacobson brought her cello. Alice and I got out our violins and we had a mini Christmas concert. It was fun!
We all had a great Christmas. It was so much fun being able to spend this time that we celebrate Jesus' birth with family and friends!

How wonderful to spend time with both the Schills AND Jacobsons! I'm hoping to do it in Aberdeen at the end of January.
ReplyDeleteThey are so nice! Mrs. Schill brought over felt and is helping me learn how to make wool liners for the inside of our mud boots!
