"Yes, can I help you?"
"Who's house is this anyways?"
" How many can I hold?!"
"Missed a spot."
About a week ago we received 5 kittens and their mom from some nice neighbors. One, a black and white one named Smokey, was adopted after being found in a fire outside of Osnabrock. Alice trained one to be her hood cat, and I found it very snugly to hold almost all of them at once. Several of us also found out that there claws help them climb up pant legs before you realize whats happening!
We made them a little house out of straw bales in the barn. Of course, they found several ways to get out. So every time we thought we had found there escape route, they got out anyway. Dad decided that maybe they could use a "real" house. He made them an adorable little cat/dog house inside the garage with 2 entrance's outside. Naturally, the first thing us kids think is " I'm sure I'll fit through that door."
We have had a lot of fun with them and now winter should be no problem for them with a roof over their heads.
