A few days ago dad built our farm a fence line bunk feeder.
This grain feeder allows you to feed your animals grain with out having to reach over the fence, and spill half the bucket if your some what short.
After building the feeder dad cut along the fence panel where the feeder would be. That enables the sheep to reach through and eat the grain in the trough.
Margaret seems pleased that she now has the hay feeder all to herself at times.
Saturday afternoon some of our friends came over. The gave us three of their big ducks. Two females and one male. Alice and I have caught the male a few times and he doesn't seem too shy. They always seem to be together. But then, birds of a feather flock together! They also lay eggs and maybe soon we'll have a few sweet little ducklings!
