One rooster + Nineteen guineas = the new Seavey farm animals, or birds. Rooster five seven got his name from the children's music academy (CMA). While living in Minot the boys learned piano in CMA. The chord V7 is a chord played on the piano also known in CMA as rooster five seven. :) It stuck!
Dad was building a roost he thought that he was going to post on Pinterest. LOL! He changed his mind and now the roost is outside. It is still pretty cool!
Okay, so we were a little nervous about catching a guinea. As dad explained it we were avoiding it not catching it. :) Now it's pretty fun chasing after guineas!
Our main reason for getting guineas is bugs! Especially ticks! They will be wild birds that hopefully stick around. :) Hens should soon replace them.
Teagan was dad's number one helper! He has always liked working. He was pretty proud when he found out he could squeeze the handle on the staple gun!
We have heard from a couple friends that guineas are really loud. At least when you're chasing them. We have found that out but are still really excited about our new animals...birds on our farm!
