One of the many benefits of  home schooling is that you can go ice skating for 2 hours on a Monday afternoon!  That's just what we did on January 29th.  Ice skating is one of many things that our family really enjoys!  I'm definitely not the best at ice skating, but I'm learning.  Timmy and Teagan had an awesome time playing with friends. I guess that is what Alice and I were doing too. :) 
  What makes ice skating fun isn't just the skating. It is the friends that make it special!  A lot of home schooling families were there.   I had the opportunity to meet new friends. Many of the dads were also out on the ice with little ones that couldn't skate.  Ayda tried ice skates but they were a bit too hard. Us girls were always trying to see who would fall the most.  I fell 3 times.
  The Paulsons invited us for supper after skating.  Mrs. Paulson made a big pot of really yummy chili.  It really warmed us up after all that skating.  We had a wonderful time and we are already wanting to go again!
