Christmas! What a fun time of year! We are just discovering all of the fun Christmas activities in our small town community. We decided to go for a fun Christmas celebration. Since it is about 20 minutes from our house us kids played a few match's of rock,paper,scissor shoot! Eye spy and on top of the world ( A game that Lindy and Larissa Nelson made up ) was also played.:) Unfortunately, we missed the hay ride,or slay ride, which ever it was when we got there.:( We did have some hot cocoa and sugar cookies. They were pretty good.:) We went to a free movie in the theater. And walked to all the fun little shops.
We are also planning to go to a few more Christmas activities. We are planning to go to 2 cookie exchanges. We will be sure to post our cookies! We are also planning a Christmas program at the nursing home. We are going to play piano, violin, and we even have a hand bell song! Alice and I are making little clay manger scene's for all the residents. About 20. We can't wait to see the big fat cat, Rosie, that lives at the nursing home! I have always wanted dad to work at a nursing home where there's a cat! Is Christmas about cocoa, presents, music and caroling or lights? No way! Its about how Gods Son came to earth to save us all!
