The Seaveys have been doing a lot of baking! We are involved in 2 cookie exchanges, 1 of which is already done. We made whoopie pies for our first exchange. The boys where convinced that there wasn't enough filling. :) I'm pretty sure there was! I baked 168 cookies for the exchange. I only would have had to make half as much if they were not sandwich cookies. It was still pretty fun! Our second cookie exchange is tomorrow, December 22nd. We made little hamburger cookies! The buns are vanilla wafers, there are sesame seeds on top:D, the burger is a thin chocolate mint, the ketchup and mustard is frosting, and the lettuce is dyed coconut. We had fun making those! We stuck them in some hamburger box's from McDonald's. :D We made 8 dozen.
We also decorated a ginger bread house. We wanted to save it until Christmas but..... we kind of couldn't resist! Alice sure enjoyed it! But of course I have never known Alice not to like any kind of candy! :D I hope we manage to save some cookies from the cookie exchange! I mean, who doesn't like cookies?
